The post also has recently renovated The Club Hall which can be reserved for receptions, birthday parties and meetings. The Club Room is a great place to meet your friends or to just come in and enjoy some American Legion hospitality. Post 690 hosts and manages the Club Room, open to the public everyday.

The post provides support through the post's American Legion, Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary. American Legion Post 690 has been serving veterans, veteran families and the public since 1924 when it was granted its charter. Originally founded by the Palatine veterans of World War I, Post 690 is located in downtown Palatine, Illinois. Since it's a Tuesday, we will have tacos for sale starting at 6pm.
